The Homeland is on Fire, Art as Action Alerts for the World

Posting for Nabila Harb:

I did not publish here for such a long time that some one (obviously with hostile intentions) actually had usurped my account.  I have wrestled it now back from the enemy, and we must do the same with respect to Palestine!

I always believed that Art was a powerful force, socially and politically, that it could educate as well as inspire.

The art of Art Maher Naji and Irina Naji do precisely that.  I had been following Irina's work for a long time, but only recently discovered the work of her husband.  Here are a few examples:

Al Aqsa, eternal symbol of Palestine, is indeed on fire.  Where is Ahmad al Arabi?  The world must unite in denouncing the unilateral, wholly illegal move of the U.S. Embassy to the Eternal City as a gesture of support for the Israeli regime, as well as every other action undertaken by Donald Trump to undermine the rights of the Palestinian people.

Al Quds under attack, damaged but still standing.  There is no excuse for foreign Occupation.

Below, works by the incredible Irina Naji.  I will endeavour to capture photographs individually, but for now:
